
WithumSmith+Brown (WS+B), Certified Public Accountants and Consultants, remains steadfast in growing its corporate leadership team, promoting four senior managers to partner level, effective July 1, 2010. This year’s advancing class includes: Anthony J. Nitti, CPA, MST; Michael Pintabone, CPA; Matthew R. Pribila, CPA; and William E. Sansone, CPA.
Anthony J. Nitti, CPA, MST
Based in the firm’s Aspen, CO, office, Tony Nitti is a member of WS+B’s National Tax Services Group specializing in innovative tax planning and consulting for individuals and small businesses, with a focus on real estate, retail, and construction clients. He has authored articles for various industry magazines and has coordinated and conducted continuing professional education training on a wide variety of tax issues.
Tony joined WS+B’s Princeton, NJ office in 2005 after beginning his career with ‘Big 4’ accounting firms and earning a master’s degree in taxation from the University of Denver’s Graduate Tax Program, Denver, CO. An avid skier, Tony returned to Colorado in 2006 and established the firm’s Aspen office. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), the New Jersey Society of Certified Public Accountants (NJSCPA), and the Colorado Society of CPAs (COSCPA).
Tony resides in Aspen with his wife Lauren, and their one-year-old son, Ryan.
Michael B. Pintabone, CPA
Located in the New Brunswick office, Mike Pintabone has more than 9 years of professional experience in public accounting. He has been with WithumSmith+Brown since 2000 and has worked on a variety of audit and accounting engagements, tax engagements and special consulting projects.
Mike is a graduate of Bloomsburg University of Pennsylvania, Bloomsburg, PA, which is where he received his bachelor’s degree in accounting. He is a member of the AICPA and NJSCPA. He is also a member of the Board of the Joseph H. Firth Youth Center, Phillipsburg, NJ.
Mike lives in Essex County, NJ, with his wife, Dori.
Matthew R. Pribila, CPA
Matthew Pribila is based in WS+B’s Princeton, NJ office with 13 years experience in public accounting. He is licensed as a certified public accountant in New Jersey, specializing in accounting and auditing, and is a member of the firm’s Technology Services Group focusing on the telecommunications industry. Outside of telecom, his client base also includes industry trade associations, broker-dealers, hedge funds, mortgage banking, registered investment advisers, and quasi-governmental organizations. In addition he has experience in engagements which assess internal accounting control effectiveness.
Matthew is a member of the AICPA and the NJSCPA, and is a graduate of The College of New Jersey, Ewing, NJ, with a bachelor’s degree in accounting. He serves on the board of directors of First Choice Bank, and chairs its audit committee. He previously served as president of a community fundraising board for St. Francis Medical Center in Trenton, NJ, and is currently a Foundation Board member of St. Francis Medical Center. He also serves on the Princeton Chamber of Commerce Leap Steering Committee.
Matthew lives in Mercer County, NJ with his wife, Laura.
William E. Sansone, CPA
Located in WS+B’s Red Bank office, Bill Sansone has more than 30 years of experience in private industry and public accounting, and is a licensed CPA in New Jersey, New York and Florida. His expertise includes business and auditing, strategic planning, royalty and licensing, and inventory costing and controls for many industries, particularly manufacturers and distributors, professional service and law firms, and insurance services (MGAs).
Bill is a graduate of Pace University, NYC, where he received a bachelor’s degree in accounting. He is member of the AICPA, NJSCPA, the Monmouth-Ocean Development Council (MODC) and the New York State Society of Certified Public Accountants (NYSSCPA). He is also a member of the American Cancer Society Monmouth Corporate Leadership Council, and a Board member of the Lincroft Athletic Association, Lincroft, NJ.
Bill resides in Monmouth County, NJ, with his wife, Elaine, and two children, Stephanie, 19, and Billy, 14.
