WS+B Expands Into Maryland/Washington D.C. Area
Effective November 1, the certified public accounting firm of M.D. Oppenheim & Company, P.C. (MDO) completed its four-office merger with WithumSmith+Brown by officially integrating their Silver Spring, Maryland location into the firm.
The Silver Spring office, which is located outside of Washington D.C., performs not-for-profit and government work, increasing WS+B’s expertise in this area. In addition, the total number of the firm’s offices has increased from ten to eleven.
Among the new staff joining the firm with this office merger is Nancy Davis, CPA, partner in charge of the Silver Spring office. “We are extremely excited about joining such a well-respected firm with offices throughout the Mid-Atlantic area,” stated Nancy. “Now our clients will gain access to the considerable amount of resources a firm with international affiliations can provide.” MDO’s Iselin, NJ and Greater Philadelphia Area offices located in Cherry Hill, NJ and Philadelphia, PA merged with WS+B effective May 1 of this year.
