Ed O’Connell is an Audit Partner with over 30 years of experience in public accounting. Ed specializes in providing accounting, auditing, and consulting services to both public and private companies in the areas of technology, digital assets, life sciences, manufacturing, distribution, and service industries. He has an extensive background in providing business advisory, auditing, internal control over financial reporting, complex accounting, and other consulting services to SEC registrants and private companies. Ed also has experience with multi-national organizations included International Financial Reporting Standards, and is a member of the HLB International Assurance Committee.
Ed is a licensed Certified Public Accountant in the states of New Jersey, New York and Iowa, as well as being a Chartered Global Management Accountant, a Certified Fraud Examiner, and is also Certified in Financial Forensics. Ed is a graduate of Rider University and the Immediate Past President of the New Jersey Society of Public Accountants, and a member of the governing council of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.

Ed serves as the President of the NJCPA, of which he’s been a member for 26 years. He is a member of the AICPA, where he formerly served on the Technical Standards Subcommittee, and was an Independence and Ethics Joint Trial Board Member. Ed is a previous honorees of NJBIZ’s “Forty Under 40” list, a program that recognizes a commitment to business growth, professional excellence and the community. In the community, Ed is a Board Member of the Global Lyme Alliance, a not-for-profit organization dedicated to research, raising awareness, promoting advocacy, and supporting initiatives to find a cure for Lyme and other tick-borne diseases. Locally, Ed is a former board member of directors of Junior Achievement and Big Brothers Big Sisters.
