Josh Horowitz, a Tax Partner in Withum’s NYC office, is the team leader of the Professional Sports Team. With over 13 years of experience and a licensed CPA, Josh helps high-net-worth individuals in the sports and entertainment industry with complex tax issues and tax-saving planning. He is dedicated to empowering professional athletes and helping them stay up to date on the latest tax regulations and trends to minimize tax liability and maximize returns on their investments.

As a Board Member of the Premier Sports Network U.S. Advisory Board, Josh works closely with the network to enhance Player Care benefits and assist professional athletes with trusted advice and guidance.

Bringing his wealth of experience to the masses, Josh is a frequent contributor and thought leader in the profession. He has been published in popular trade magazines like The Tax Advisor and Slam Magazine. He has also appeared on the HLB’s Cross-Border Business Talks Podcast Series.

Josh formerly served as the Chair of the NYSSCPA Sports and Entertainment Committee.  He was recognized and honored by the Firm with Strength Awards in both the Marketing and Innovation Strength categories, noting his exceptional ability to utilize his experience and provide world-class service.

Outside of the office, Josh enjoys going to concerts, traveling, and sharing his love of sports and video games with his two sons.
