Withum is proud to share that Russell Goldberg, Partner in Charge of Withum’s Orlando Office, has been inducted into the University of Central Florida College of Business Hall of Fame.
Russell is a proud graduate of the University of Central Florida (UCF) Kenneth G. Dixon School of Accounting. In his illustrious career of nearly 35 years, he has always prioritized giving back to the organization and nurturing the next generation of accountants coming out of UCF. He is passionate about empowering students to pursue accounting degrees and providing financial support through Withum’s scholarships that are awarded annually at the UCF Spring Banquet.
In addition to his recruitment efforts, Russell served as the Chair of the Central Florida Hillel board and helped create and foster a community for UCF’s Jewish student population. During his time as chair, he oversaw the development and opening of a new residence hall and housing program, making a huge impact on the student body and the University’s accessibility. Russell serves on the College of Business Dean’s Advisory Board and is an active member of the Dixon School of Accounting Advisory Board.
In 2019, Russell and Withum teamed up to design and open the Withum Learning Lab at UCF. This on-campus space is located at the College of Business Administration I building and serves as a place for accounting students to study, tutor and collaborate. UCF accounting students often account for nearly all of Withum’s Florida interns and Empower class staff members. Currently, over half of the team members in Florida are UCF graduates—a legacy that Russell is proud to support and continue.
The Hall of Fame is our favorite night of the year. A night where we celebrate our most accomplished alumni, generous partners and dearest friends of the college. Russell Goldberg is all of those. Not only does he lead one of Orlando’s most successful accounting firms, he mentors and recruits our students and helps us build a culture of engagement in the college. Congratulations to Russell on being inducted to the College of Business Hall of Fame.
Paul Jarley, Dean of the UCF College of Business
An Induction into the UCF College of Business Hall of Fame is the highest honor given to business graduates. UCF recognizes Russell’s lifelong dedication to not only the profession and business community but also to the UCF community and the future of the profession. On March 12, 2024, Russell was honored by the University for this and more at Rosen Shingle Creek, the venue for the annual gala.
