Withum is proud to announce the appointment of Marcus Dyer to the group of leaders designated to reopening New Jersey’s economy, the Restart and Recovery Advisory Council.
The Council is comprised of leaders from nine different industries, institutions, community and faith-based groups throughout the state. These leaders will work with the New Jersey Governor’s Office to safely reopen and restart the economy amid the coronavirus pandemic.
“I am very grateful for this opportunity to try to make a difference for people across this state whose lives have been turned upside down by the COVID-19 crisis,” said Dyer, who is no stranger to working with the New Jersey State Government. He also previously worked with the Governor on the First Stop Initiative, a program created to enable inclusive business growth with effective government tools. Dyer proudly serves as Foundation Board Chairman for the African American Chamber of Commerce of New Jersey, who recommended him to the Governor’s office for the Council.
“A fundamental part of the Withum Way is giving back to our greater communities,” said Bill Hagaman, Managing Partner and CEO of Withum. “We are immensely proud of Marcus’s appointment to the Governor’s Restart and Recovery Advisory Council, where he will play an integral part in reviving New Jersey’s economy for a stronger tomorrow.”
