Withum Wrap-Up: Community Impact in 2024

Withum encourages team members to use a day of their in-office time to give back. From volunteering at local food banks to participating in outdoor cleanup programs, assisting with school activities, serving holiday meals and laying wreaths for fallen soldiers and veterans, Withum’s team members proudly helped further nonprofit missions this year.

Over 2024, Withum team members dedicated over 8,000 hours to volunteer work. These hours encompassed Withum Week of Caring, an annual give-back marathon event leading up to Thanksgiving, and the Firm’s Intern Days of Giving, where interns spend the day performing service acts within the community. Additionally, team members have been involved in various annual service initiatives and individual volunteer efforts, including holding board positions on over 100 nonprofit organizations.

Between donations from the Firm and our team members, over $1.6 million has been given to 300 organizations worldwide. In addition, our team members donated nearly $33,000 to various organizations chosen by Withum Team Member Resource Groups (TMRG) through unused PTO days.

The Empower Class, Withum’s first-year professionals, also lead an annual fundraising campaign throughout their first year at the Firm, supporting the Boys & Girls Club of America. Thanks to the combined efforts of the Firm and individual contributions, the Empower Class raised $60,000 for this cause.

In 2024, over 500 organizations were beneficiaries of Withum’s giving efforts. Sharing individual giving efforts in addition to Firm-wide giving initiatives is a true testament to how much community impact is a fundamental element of Withum’s culture.

This summer, Withum’s team members also assembled over 1,000 wellness kits filled with hygiene products donated to shelters nationwide.

During the holiday season, the Veterans TMRG and Not-for-Profit Services Team ran a joint fundraiser for Wreaths Across America. Contributions from team members, friends and family were matched by the Veterans TMRG and Not-for-Profit Services Team, totaling 2,792 wreaths at 43 locations. At 20 of those locations, 104 Withum team members laid wreaths at the graves of passed soldiers.

Supporting the communities where Withum team members live and work is a hallmark of the Withum Way. Withum’s people take pride in their ability to help further nonprofit missions through their time and financial means. In 2025, Withum eagerly anticipates another successful year of giving back.
